Last Blog Post

Hello Everybody,

This is certainly the last blog post that I will post for this blog. I finished my two static pages. One is my opinion on if avatar is an anime and the other is the history of manga and anime. I also created a mentor page and a resource page. Since this is my last time writing in this blog, I would like to consider this as one of the best projects I had ever participated. Although I didn't finish it, I was able to learn more about light novels and the culture of Japan. I got to admit that it had brought me more deeper into the anime and manga world. As for the light novel, I might have time in the future to complete it. As I say goodbye to this blog, I shall recommend some good anime.

Static Page #2 done!

Hello,

I finished static page #2. It is about the different character types. I will try to complete the other static pages by the end of this week . As my progress for the book, I haven't being writing a lot due to my busy schedule. I will try to complete more of it as the 20 presentations are coming near. As for now, I felt like my novel is becoming more of a psychological and slice of life type of novel. (If you don't know what that is, you should look at Static Page #1.) I did mentioned that the antagonist is not the principal in a previous post. I shall now reveal the antagonist of my story (Of course, I will not say his name.) The antagonist is a student in the school. As for the title, I will figure out a better one by the end of this week. As 20 time is coming to an end, I hope I can get more of the book done.

Yes! Static Page #1 is done!

Hello Everyone,

The most amazing thing that ever happened in my blog! I finished static page #1 which is about the different genres of anime, manga, and light novels. I also provided one example for each genre. I ensure you that none but one (Code Geass because of one episode) have inappropriate content in it because I watched them all. I also changed my background because I felt like changing it. It came from the manga/anime Daily Lives of High School Boys. It is an extremely funny manga and I suggest reading it. For this week, I will try to complete the other static pages and try to write more of my novel.

The adventures of a light novel

Hello everybody,

 

My novel is actually still a slice of life. The reason why the genre of my light novel keeps changing is because of the content inside it. I had also made a lot of progress on the story and was able to write a lot more of it. My brother is also starting to draw pictures for it as the story progresses. This includes the cover for the book. For this week, I will try to complete the static pages and the mentor page.

Change of Genre,Title,and Characters

Hello everybody,

As I went further into the story, I felt that the story is no longer following the genres that I listed before. It is definitely not a slice of life anymore, but it is more sci-fi. The title also seems to not fit with the story, but I will change that later. Most of the character types I listed in the story will be in there, but the tsundere character type will most likely won't be used in my story. Takeshi and Ryosuke is still in the story as in the main characters. Although the story is not slice of life, the story will still take place in present day Tokyo. The antagonist have also changed. It is not the principal, but a new mysterious character that will be introduced when you read the story.

Common terms used in Manga and Light Novel

Hello Everybody, I am almost finished with my third chapter.

There are many different terms that are most commonly used in Manga and Light Novels.

Here is a list of some of them.

Baka- an insult on a person's intelligence

Kawaii-cute

Senpai- an older person 

Sensei- Teacher or Doctor

Tsundere- a common character type in anime

Moe- a cute character

Hikikomori-a person who is secluded within their home

Chibi- a drawing style for characters. Used mostly for humorous and cute scenes

I am sure there are more terms that can be added in the list, but I can't list them all.

How am I planning out my story?

Hello Everyone,

I finally finished chapter two.This seems like it is going to be a pretty long story. I am planning on separating the story into a prologue and 8 chapters. This is a tough process since I have to think up a story as well as try to depict the characters with great details. I also have to deal with grammar mistakes. In order to make sure the story's characters can accurately display the emotion that i want them to display, I had to take the time to read more light novels and watch more anime. I hope that I will get chapter 3 finished by the end of next week. If I have more time after chapter 3, I will try to write chapter 4.
