The setting and characters of the plot

I finally figured out the plot of the story. I decided to have the setting be in a world called Hypria. The world is a combination of Sengoku Japan and Medieval Europe. It is similar to Sengoku Japan because all of the inhabitants are Japanese and its method of warfare are similar. It is also similar to Medieval Europe because the world also have nobles and knights.The places with names similar to places found in Medieval Europe. I created two main characters, four side characters, and one antagonist.I still haven't given them names, but their names will be in Japanese style except for the antagonist. Each character has an interesting background story which makes them distinct from each other.

The Beginning

Hello everybody,
This is my first post on this blog.

Now on to business,
If you don't know what is a light novel, it is a type of Japanese novel that is popular with young adults.

In order to start writing a light novel, I have to pick from a selection of genres and write out an idea for my novel.The genres I knew are action, romance, adventure, sci-fi ,comedy, fantasy, slice of life, Shonen and Shoujo. I like all of those genres, so I decided to create 5 random ideas. The best one of the 5 will be the one that I write for my light novel. After I write five ideas and read them to my mentor, I finally chose the best idea for the novel. The genres of my light novel will be action, romance, adventure, comedy, and fantasy. I will not reveal the plot until later on because the plot is still in development.
